Weekend Ahead

First of all apologies for the post on Wednesday - I had spent ages and ages (far too long) getting the pictures neatly into rows in the post preview only to find that once I posted it, they went randomly about the page. Any help as to why I cannot stretch the post box to the left much appreciated.

Now onto the important matter of the weekend ahead. Today we are off to visit my best friend for the night, she lives about 3 hours away and we don't see each other often enough. She has two adorable boys and we are delivering the eldest belated 5th birthday present, so we should be a popular pair! I am really looking forward to an afternoon of fun with the boys (5yrs and 18mnths) and an evening of take away, wine and chat with the adults. Even if everytime I come away wishing we lived closer.

Then on Sunday we have Harvest Festival here in our church which is just down the lane from our house. It really is a family affair as we are a tiny village and an even tinier church congregation. So James (my husband) is doing the bible reading and I am sure many of the family will be taking up harvest gifts to the alter. The children always seem to enjoy this job! Then it is back to the farm for one of my mother-in-laws famous Sunday roasts, which we are reliably informed is roast beef with all the trimmings, cannot wait!! We will no doubt walk this off with the dogs and children in the afternoon.
