"Baby its cold outside"

Remember yesterday's picture from my living room - quite serene snowfall I think. But this is the view today! This is what the weather men are calling 'a light snow shower'. Boy it seems fairly heavy to me! Oh how I wish I felt up to wrapping up and venturing out with my camera when it stops though.

For those readers I haven't lost with my tooth woes - a little update! I have had to revisit the dentist again today as it is absolute agony. (To the point of frustrated tears at breakfast I am afraid to say) They said that I have been too vigorous keeping the area clean and have had to have 'magic granules' dressed on the hole. I have been told not to talk or drink too much (water as well wine!) and to take it steady - the not talking part is hard believe me! And I have to revisit to have the same again tomorrow and then hopefully (everything crossed) I will start to get better. It was not reassuring to see a different dentist who said she was glad she wasn't the one to take the tooth out in the first place as it was a hard one! Arghhh. This stuff tastes disgusting (feel v.sick) and smells vile but has instantly helped. All I want is to be able to eat something other than mush and enjoy a cup of coffee!

Anyway, from my resting spot in the corner of my sofa I am using the time to catch up on various things online whilst re watching Kirtie's Homemade Christmas Home.

Firstly I came across this brilliant blog recommendation list from The Times Newspaper - '50 of the World's Best Design Blogs' - thanks to Lobster and Swan for this link and congratulations on making the top 50 too!

Secondly please, please, please visit Erin's Blog and read her 'Home for the Holidays post' and then please vote for Wynn. Oh how I wish I had taught such a clever 9 year old. What a special sentiment for this time of year.

Lastly, I had to share with you all, the perfect little bargain I have just had delivered (delivery man thought I was a bit odd just making noises at him! Hee hee) Anyway, aren't they just gorgeous and for only £15 (around $24), originally rrp £68 (around $110) - just perfect too!

Hope you are all having a busy but happy and productive week xx

  1. Oh Cassie, that snow is just beautiful. I wish it would snow like that here. We had alot like that last year. A bit too much for some folks, but I loved it. We've only had one snow flurry so far and it melted in a few hours. Glad to hear that your tooth is feeling better. Hopefully you can enjoy all those Christmas yummies soon. I saw that list of 50 as well on Lobster and Swan and saw a few that I hadn't seen before that I need to check out. Have a great day!

And the snow just looks so magical. Or maybe it's just because I've never seen snow so to me it still have a magical element to it.

Very cute shoes! I too get very excited when things get delivered to me! So I completely understand :)
