I seem to have spent the majority of my day today tucked up in my kitchen. The sun shone in for most of the day and I just pottered around never really straying from the room for too long as it was by far the cosiest place in the house. I did manage to put up some of my Christmas house decorations today though but I was glad to hear my husband agree with me that they looked a little half-hearted. So I think I will have to add a couple of carefully chosen new ones this year. Below are a couple of photos of some of them in place...
Does anyone else have a favourite place in their house? Would love to hear about them. Mine does seem to change occasionally but I inevitably end up back in my good ol' kitchen! Hope you are all having a fantastic first of the month.
I guess I don't really but I love falling into my bed each night! Haha

I like to curl up on the couch in my living room, with a good book, a cup of tea, and a fire roaring in the woodstove. Can't wait to experience all three AND the Christmas tree! Not long now...
ReplyDeleteThey look sweet! I wish I had time to put mine up, it will have to wait for the weekend sadly. My favourite room...well my flat only consists of two main rooms but I think I like my bedroom best, it's a little cluttered and a little more cosy.

ReplyDeleteLooks like a cozy little kitchen you have there. I'm not real big on cooking, so I tend to be in my living room a alot when I'm not in my office on the computer. We live in a loft style townhouse so the ceilings are very high and there is a large picture window in the living room and a sky light in the upstairs loft and the living area just fills with light during the day. I really love being in light flooded spaces.
