Oh my, oh my!

Yesterday I posted about Kirstie Allsopp, well I watched her programme this morning and to tell you I am giddy is a huge understatement! It was one of those programmes which made me talk to the TV - I am sure Kirstie can hear me telling her she is just the best lady ever!! (Oh dear maybe I am going bonkers but it works for my husband and the football!)

This is mainly going to be a photo post otherwise I would write and write forever! First can I just reassure you all, with this first set of photos, that Kirstie is indeed the most glamorous woman ever! (Apologies for the photo quality but they were straight from the TV)

(even blowing glass and rolling icing she looked fab as ever)

(and of course carried off the hat and pearls wonderfully!)

(had to share this 'to die for' runner on the staircase too)

The programme started with Kirstie visiting Liberty's in London to simply give us some of the best Christmas eye-candy out.

And the programme was interspersed with fantastic shots of the house in Devon and surrounding countryside.

In this first programme Kirstie made Christmas cakes,

handmade cards,

glass baubles,

a real foliage wreath,

salt-dough decorations in school with children

and of course went shopping for antiques!

The results were amazing and the house looked absolutely stunning at the end of the show.

Tonight is the second programme and she is making handmade presents and learning gift-wrap skills (I think I am in heaven!). If you want to find out more you can visit the programme site.

And to top my day off we are going to get our Christmas tree tonight! I feel like an excited little child all over again. Hope you are all having a wonderful week.

xx

  1. I forgot to watch it, I reminded Thomas to remind me as well - I'll have to watch it on demand over the weekend. It looks so good though, she really is lovely!
