This was our view yesterday morning - we really have a winter wonderland here now - with more forecast! Today I have woken to another light dusting on top of yesterday's and we have even more forecast tonight. We had to go out yesterday to do a big food shop and how I wished I had taken my camera with me - the world looked so pretty, twinkling and white!
(one of my hydrangeas!)
(the wind was really strong on Thursday night and really made the snow drift)
On a sad note - please spare a thought for the poor pigeon who must have died and is currently frozen in the top of our pond! Poor bird - but rather a funny sight though!!

Now that we're nearing vacation and can just cozy up at home, I wouldn't mind getting dumped on. Then I would have an excuse for not leaving my apartment.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you won't just be dreaming of a white Christmas! Could be the real thing. How marvellous!
ReplyDeleteHope you get to have your movie night tonight... What show are you going to watch?
Wow! That is so much snow! I can't even image anything like that happening here. It does look very pretty though. It looks like the perfect weather to stay at home to watch movies, create or read.
ReplyDeleteThe poor little pigeon :(
I so adore that bottom photo...the winding little fence is so charming! :) Isn't it funny how snow isn't quite as obnoxious the week before Christmas? Somehow it's sweet and romantic now, but I'm sure within a month, I'll be so very tired of scraping my windshield in the morning :)
