Country Living in January

One of my aims for this year that I did not share with you in the resolutions post was to re-read my collection of Country Living Magazines. I now have a copy of this great magazine for every month back to June 2002! I cannot bring myself to throw them out and I certainly can't take a pair of scissors to this masterpiece magazine! (I am rather odd I know!)

I was also looking for a regular feature for my blog and I hope this one may be a enjoyed by you as well as me. I hope to re-read the copies for each relevant month and blog/post photos about my favourite bits. I love this magazine, it has so many wonderful features and provides such country inspired eye-candy. I don't know about anyone else but I can't think of anything better than sitting down with a fresh copy of a magazine and this feels like lots of new magazines to look at. I have taken so much from the issues over the years into everything from my garden to my wedding. So each month I hope to share a little of the magazine with you and hopefully you will enjoy it as much as me. Please let me know what you think.
January

Just eye candy this month but I hope to pick out favourite features next month.

  1. Hi Cassie,
I used to get this magazine, but have not gotten one in awhile. It will be nice to see what inspired you from past issues. Thanks so much for visiting me and for your kind words. It was good to have a little break.

  2. Wow! I'm impressed that you've managed to keep all those magazines around and in such good shape for so long. I especially like the pictures you've chosen from Jan. 2006. The garden path is gorgeous. And I love the table set by the fireplace...

  5. I love to hoard magazines, too. They have so much inspiration, it's hard to toss them out... or even tear pages out of them sometimes.
