Feeling the blues

When I saw this wonderful image on the ever fantastic 'Living the Swell Life' it reminded me of just how many beautiful blue and green things I have seen recently in the new Spring catalogues. These materials that Jessica laid over one another just look stunning and she has made some lovely little pieces from these fabrics in her Etsy shop.

This inspired me to seek out my favourite items, in these colours, from next seasons goodies. I had a lovely skirt last summer that was in blue and green but at the time I couldn't help thinking my Mum always used to say - "never be seen in blue and green", but I think I heard recently it should be "never be seen in red and green" - anyone know that phrase? Anyway I sold the skirt on Ebay in the Autumn - maybe I should have kept it for the upcoming Spring? But I am sure I could find something equally as lovely from the collection below.

Did you see anything that took your fancy? Surely you did! I have a little birthday money still to spend and it currently feels like it is burning a hole in my pocket! But I just cannot make my mind up what to spend it on, I had told myself I would choose a few of my Etsy faves but I simply cannot make a decision! I do have some vouchers for my absolute favourite clothes shop Boden so I think those bejewelled green sandals have my name on them!
