I hope you are reading this after a great week and are all looking forward to the weekend ahead. We have the 'Village Quiz Night' tonight (can you remember that being on my March list?) and it should be interesting! I learnt that there are going to be fifty of us in our very tiny village sports hut, so we may be packed in like sardines! I am not all that great at general knowledge so please send all your random knowledge thoughts Suffolk, England bound tonight please!

Floral Friday
Bright and colourful is definitely the theme for Floral Friday this week, in a desperate attempt to outshine the grey dreary days we seem to have returned to!
I appear to have plenty of gorgeous flowers around the house this week; tulips, hyacinths and freesias and they are all cheery and beautiful and smell delightful. This weeks 'Found Flowers' come from The Wedding Chicks and I loved all the colours and containers so much that I had to share them with you today.
This Sunday is also Mothering Sunday, so we will be paying my mother-in-law a visit to drop round some goodies and I have been busy making her card this afternoon.
Whatever you may have planned, I hope it is a fabulous one and I would love to hear about them.

I have a jasmine plant in the living room and it smells so lovely. I think I need a big bouquet pf tulips on my kitchen table though...
ReplyDeleteI love the pub quiz. We used to go every week in London. I'm good at certain categories, but not sports or science! I'll send my general knowledge of history, literature and Hollywood gossip your way, shall I?
Our weekend is busy. Gardening (we hope! if the snow stops!!!) and housework, another birthday party, grocery shopping (we seem to have NO FOOD in the house, with the exception of leftover birthday cake) and a bit of reading I need to do in prep for returning to work on Monday. No Mothering Sunday here, though we did send a pretty card to England for my MIL. Our Mother's Day comes in May. I always look forward to it.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Sounds like a lot of fun to me!
Right. Off to drink my tea and keep warm. Mid-March is proving to be a bit more "like a lion" than a lamb!
xo
Beautiful flowers, I wish they were in my house!
ReplyDeleteGood luck at the quiz! Village quiz nights are always so much more than that aren't they?
