Life is out there!

Yesterday I spent lots of time outside enjoying this Spring-like weather we have had for the first two days of the month! I am whispering as I say this because I fear it may not last and somehow I cannot believe we have seen the back of this harsh winter just yet. But whilst enjoying the sunshine I flitted around the garden with my camera, snapping away all the tiny signs that Spring is slowly creeping in.

If you look closely enough there are tiny, and some not so tiny (come on daffodils - just a couple more inches) buds everywhere. They are breaking through cold winter soil and hard brown bark and taking in this gorgeous March sunshine, just like me! There is really something to be said for the sun on your face, the crisp clean air and that feeling of being outside again, even if it is in my husbands fleece and my wellies.

I have felt like I am coming out of hibernation these last few days and just quietly hoping this weather may be here to stay, so these buds can spring into life alongside me in my gardening gloves!

  2. Oh beautiful spring, how we've missed you! I love all the little shoots and buds that are finally making a much-anticipated appearance. Can't wait for them all to burst into bloom!

PS: I have had a very busy couple of days! Whew! Am exhausted. But am working on a real email that I hope to send later today.

  3. Where I live, it's always bright and sunny! Malaysia is a tropical country, so it's either always filled with sunshine or rain. x
