Floral Friday with a 'blank' it!

Last day of the month! Where did April go folks? I seem to be typing that we are at the end of the month at an alarming rate these days. This week seems to have passed by quickly and relatively calmly and I am looking forward to a long weekend; as we have a Bank Holiday on Monday. This week seems to have been the week my garden decided to turn green and I cannot believe just how much the hedges have sprouted and the blooms have begun to appear. I was most pleased to see signs of flowers on my wisteria, which were only planted last year. I was all set to wait for many years before we had the delicate flowers to enjoy.

I have missed writing a 'fill the blanks' post for a few weeks now but when I saw this weeks on Lauren's blog I knew I could have a bit of a theme going here for 'Floral Friday'. Read further to see if you can guess the connection...

'My Flowers' this week are my wedding bouquet and for this weeks 'Found Flowers' I have a chosen a stunning print from a real favourite Gabrielle Kai.

1. My absolute favourite movie of all time is "You've Got Mail". I just adore this film, everything about it is just perfect to me.

2. My favourite movie as a child was "Santa Claus the Movie". A real 1980's classic with Dudley Moore and the video tape it was on got worn out from being played time and time again!

3. The best movie quote ever is from "Dirty Dancing" when Johnny talks about Baby at the end on the stage. "So I'm gonna do my kind of dancin' with a great partner, who's not only a terrific dancer, but somebody... who's taught me... that there are people willing to stand up for other people no matter what it costs them. Somebody who's taught me about the kind of person I wanna be." Oh this movie would really be a close contender for my top spot.

4. My favourite actress is Rachel McAdams. Not only is she a wonderful actress and been in many of my favourite films, she is stunningly beautiful too.

5. The movie I could watch over and over is Dirty Dancing. It doesn't matter how many times I have seen that film I can always watch it again.

6. My favourite movie genre is Romantic Comedy. I am a real girly when it comes to films!

7. A movie I'd like to watch this weekend is The Notebook. I keep seeing references to it everywhere recently and who doesn't need a fix of Ryan Gosling every now and then!

Our weekend plans very much rely on the weather, so fingers crossed it stays bright, dry and sunny. What are you up to this weekend, would love to hear? Happy Friday folks, see you in May!

  7. Oh loved this, hearing about your favourites hunni.
I'm with you about Rachel! My joint faves were Dirty dancing and the Notebook but I think Bright star toppled them just lately.
I also enjoyed The Lake House again on tv last week - a dash of Keanu is always a bonus.
