When I think of England I think of...
Afternoon tea! ♥
I don’t think I’m alone when I say I’m absolutely smitten by the idea of calling a few close girlfriends over and sitting around a dainty table full of delectable sweet treats, yummy bites (oh, scones! How I love thee), and a teapot full of soothing tea while having a cosy little chat. After all, the practice of having afternoon tea was heavily influenced by the English.
Also, as in my little reverie, we’d all be dressed in poufy, intricate corset-dresses with our hair up in the most romantic of styles. Oh, how lovely it would be; to be a part of the traditional days in England! All of a sudden, I’m inspired to have my own little tea party.
