Happy Monday to you! I hope you all had a great weekend, isn't July truly flying along? We finally reached the end of the hot weather here today and it is absolutely pouring with rain. However, I am not complaining as it is watering my plants beautifully and it has cleared the air no end.
A while back I joined the 'Get Perspective Project' after reading about it on the very talented Rhianne's blog. It is being hosted by Lindsay from Shrimp Salad Circus and she explains the concept "I'll give the contributors a single word or phrase. Each contributor will submit a single picture that best represents that word or phrase for them, and then we'll see what we come up with. My idea is just to see how differently different people see and interpret the same thing." She also set up a Flickr group for people to post their photographs to here, do pop over and take a look.
So the first word was 'GONE'. As soon as I found out I had a couple of ideas for the photo I wanted to submit. However, I forgot to get round to it promptly and when I checked the group my initial ideas had been done by others. Far from being a negative thing, this pushed me to think a little harder and be a little more creative. Here is my result:

'Growing, Blooming, Gone'
I am really looking forward to the next word in the project now and can't wait to get my creative mind going once more. You may have noticed I signed up for the 'Alphabet Blog Hop' too and my day for that is Wednesday - still haven't worked out what I am photographing for that one either!

Well, aren't you a clever girl! And a good photographer too. Perhaps your Wednesday post for the Alphabet Walk will inspire me for my spot on Friday... Hope so!
