8th December Advent Window

Do you go carol-singing, or have carol-singers at your door? My husband and I were talking about church carol services last night and how we haven't been to a really good one for years. The best ones are where everyone belts out the hymns with all they've got and a real atmosphere is created, in our opinion. What is your favourite carol? Mine is 'Little Donkey', it reminds me of the many years hearing it sung by children in school so beautifully.

  1. I love O Holy Night. It's so beautiful. And as for one that you can all really belt out and put your heart into, it's got to be Joy to the World or Hark the Herald Angels Sing.

Now you've got me in the mood for singing!

  3. Lovely image!

There is a carol singing event in our little town a week before Christmas, when everyone brings a lantern and joins in some singing and lovely community spirit. Whether you are religious or not, it is a very nice event, and the mince pies handed out at the end, might have something to do with that... ;-)

Thank you so much for all your kind words on my blog!

    Regards,
    Helena
