I have not had a really good cheesecake for ages but this turtle cheesecake could persuade me to give it a try.

A slice of this 'Highland Mocha Stout Cake' would surely satisfy the biggest chocoholic and was called the best cake ever on the original website!

I don't think I could make my mind up which slice to have if faced with these gorgeous choices.

Gimme S'more Cakelettes - need I say more...

I am adding some fruit to try and counter the chocolate overdose now - Double Chocolate Raspberry Pavlova.

This cheesecake with the raspberries and pistachios looks totally amazing, and would be healthy right?
Apologies if I have made you starving hungry or tempted you into craving something sweet now you have reached the end of this post. Most of the links can be followed through to the recipe if any of them take your fancy. What is your favourite celebration cake? Erin made an amazing ice-cream cake for her husband's birthday a few weeks ago but I don't think I am that brave. I think I am going to have to unfollow some of these food Tumblr sites now if I am to avoid cake overload and/or gain a stone in weight.

Drooling as I eat my pear and low fat yoghurt in my lunchbreak!
ReplyDeleteI can send you some peanut butter cups if you want to give them a try. Just a couple... (they are sooooo good!) I love all the cakes you've posted. The front-runner for James' birthday is one that Alan and I were just looking at (and drooling over) on my tumblr the other night. The chocolate and raspberry pavlova looks awfully good too. And the turtle cheesecake... (Oh Cassie! My stomach is rumbling now!) Dylan's birthday is coming up, and apparently he wants a dinosaur cake. I think I'll have my work cut out for me!
ReplyDeleteAnd finally, can I just say that I think "Boyfriend replacement" is an hilarious and AWESOME name for that site?
Hazelnut frosting? Be still my heart!
ReplyDeleteYum! Everything looks divine! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI can't even bake really so cakes are definitely not on my repertoire of recipes. I love cheese cake and pavlova is one of my fave cakes. Especially with strawberries and kiwi fruit! Yum!
ReplyDeleteHaha my birthday is in February too (the 1st). Can't believe it's next week!! x
AAAARGHHHHHH waht have you done!
ReplyDeleteI am feeling a little blue today and looking at cake has forced me to head for the car and drive the four miles to the nearest shop for a cake fix!!! Perhaps it's for the best as all salad and no cake makes the Lane a very dull place indeed! Ho-Hum!
Sarah x
Oh gosh I want one of everything. The red and green on the raspberry pistachio cake pop so well!
ReplyDeleteoh cassie, you are too cute. thanks for coming to say hello. your comments make my day. my favorite celebration cake is a sour cream chocolate cake with white frosting (just on top and middle), it looks like a pretty whoopie pie. let me know if you need the recipe. xoxo.
