Tumblr Tuesday

What is it about a new year's diet that suddenly makes you want to cook like a crazy woman?! And what is it about not being able to eat something which makes you instantly drawn to pictures of it?! February is a month filled with birthdays for us so the mind is of course filled with cake and 'treat' foods. I always make a cake for my husband's birthday and often spend ages trying to decide what kind. Therefore this week my Tumblr seems to be full of food and particularly all things cake so apologies now if you are trying to avoid these things or if you are easily tempted I suggest you look away now!

Apologies if I have made you starving hungry or tempted you into craving something sweet now you have reached the end of this post. Most of the links can be followed through to the recipe if any of them take your fancy. What is your favourite celebration cake? Erin made an amazing ice-cream cake for her husband's birthday a few weeks ago but I don't think I am that brave. I think I am going to have to unfollow some of these food Tumblr sites now if I am to avoid cake overload and/or gain a stone in weight.
