'S Wonderful, 'S Marvelous

I was lucky enough to have a wonderful and marvelous Sunday with my husband this weekend. As I mentioned on Friday we hoped to go out for the day and we did just that. We headed for Snape Maltings and there was a food and drink festival on, which was a pleasure to the senses with tiny food stalls, demonstration stages and the most divine 'garden party' band playing. We browsed around the stalls outside and had a look in our favourite shops and I bought a lovely pair of giant coffee cups - inspired by last weeks post!

We then made our way to the seaside for a leisurely stroll along the sea front and a browse in the shops. One of my favourites is Moo Moo's on the highstreet, where I purchased this pair of antiqued candlesticks, which will now take up residence in my hall.

Retail therapy complete and with my husband keen to get me out of the shops, we made our way back onto the sea front and had lunch on the terrace of a hotel. Beer Battered Haddock and handcut chips all round with a glass of wine and a lovely view of the beach and its residents.

Hope you all had a great weekend.
