Chicken or Beef?

I just saw this quiz over on one of my newest friends - KT Mac's blog and thought it was the perfect post for a Saturday morning....

Outside my window... a rather damp Autumn morning with toadstools growing on the grass and another fresh mole-hill in my lawn!
I am thinking... about lots of blog posts I have in my head and really need to make a start on getting them on here instead. Maybe I need this notepad to help me remember my ideas.
I am thankful for ... all the lovely 'get well' messages I have received over the past week. I am finally feeling human again!
From the kitchen... the Dark Chocolate Brownies, I made yesterday afternoon, are calling me from their tin!
I am wearing... my PJ's and my duvet (well it is only 8am on a Saturday!)
I am creating... my handmade Christmas cards (well in my head at least) I usually know exactly what I want them to look like by now but am still not sure this year.
I am going ... to hoover the house this morning. I am usually very house-proud but I have been feeling so poorly it has been rather neglected.
I am reading ... Christmas House Magazines. I just love it when they come out on the shelves and I indulged when I went to the supermarket yesterday and bought a new fave - Country Home and Interiors.
I am hoping... to find a fantastic big mirror for my hallway as it is in urgent need of extra light and may even have a new front door. (One of many post ideas I am trying to hold in my head!) Any mirror suggestions appreciated!
I am hearing... this album. I just cannot play it enough - it is in my car and on my laptop and constantly in my head at the moment!
Around the house ... lots and lots of bugs! We built our house 5 years ago and the new wood seems to attract cluster flies; who like to come down the light fittings and buzz around! We have also had invasion after invasion of ladybirds particularly in our utility and there seems to be lots of little green bugs around too - time to clean I think!
One of my favourite things ... its the weekend! And I get to spend every minute of it with my husband who has been ridiculously busy with work this week and out several evenings too - so its catch up time.
A few plans for the rest of the week ... cleaning and organising (another blog post in mind). My house needs a good sort out especially before Christmas.
A picture to share ...I couldn't choose just one and I wanted to go with the spirit of these quizzes and choose old photo's so here are two for you.

(this is me and my brother with our grandparents - don't you just love our sofa! Sadly my Granny (holding my chubby brother!) is the only one we still have with us to share these sofa moments xx)

(my husband with his little rabbit in a wheelbarrow! Of course the rabbit was called....'Snowy'!)

Thanks again to KT for sharing this little lovely and I look forward to reading your posts or comments below if you would like to play along.

P.S Sorry for the title - yet another reference to my favourite Gilmore Girls! Apologies

  1. Hello! Came to your blog through the blog of Marta Writes. The title of your latest blog sounded very familiar to me. When I read it I saw it was a title from one of the gilmore girls episodes. I loved them also! Bought all their DVD's.... Have a nice Sunday!

  4. Hi Cassie,
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I enjoyed reading your little list here. I always have blog posts in my head too and a lot of times they don't reach the blog. There are so many blogs to look at and so little time. The photo's of you and your husband are cute.

  6. Love posts with little memes. Very cute photos of when you were young. And your hubby is cute with his rabbit. Eee! Christmas cards. I think I will buy charity ones and not make any this year.
