Two things I love around my home ...

I have spotted so many people taking part in this great idea, which originally comes from Kassi (Bacwoodsfern) am I correct? Every week I think I must join in but Tuesday goes by and my two things post never materialises! That is until this week, so this morning I got out my camera and had a very difficult decision picking two things to photograph!

Both my choices for today were from the hallway:

I love this little spot at the bottom of the staircase. When I saw these three wicker hearts my husband suggested I buy them and this seemed like the perfect spot to display them. I also love this little peeky window at the bottom of the stairs which looks out over the patio and garden. And finally my Granny bought me the lantern, which sits on the window sill, when she came down to visit me here in Suffolk so it holds fond memories.

We have a fish tank which is tucked under our staircase, unfortunately you cannot see it on the first photo. We have quite a few fish and two of my favourite are clown loaches, but they are camera shy. This little guy though loves the camera and will remain very still and pose for me while I snap away. He always looks so calm and peaceful, he does have a name (thanks to my nephews) but I cannot remember for the life of me what it is!

So there you have it, my two for this week. I loved choosing two and because I had so many others I could have photographed instead, I really must join in again next week. Let me know if you take part so I can pop over and take a look.
