Anyone else glad Friday is finally here? It feels like it has been a long wait this week for some reason. I have had a rather quiet week pottering around at home and in the garden outside of work. I am pleased with the garden results and have now got everything sufficiently pruned back and ready to flourish. I also seem to have little pots of flowers lurking everywhere in the house at the moment too. I have a hyacinth in the kitchen window with one bloom remaining, some roses (you may have spotted them in Tuesdays post) that were given as a thank you from my nephew and niece, some lilies left over from last week and so I only added a little tiny bunch to my collection for Floral Friday! With the patio set for outside living (if this cold wind ever goes) I felt it was an appropriate place for this weeks photo.

My 'Found Flowers' this week were taken as a screenshot from the fabulous new TV cooking series Delicious Miss Dahl. Has anyone else seen it? I have absolutely loved every episode not only for the cooking but the whole production in the programme. The kitchen and outside areas she uses are spectacular and have inspired me to have a go at some of the recipes. I tried the Twice Baked Jacket Potatoes last night and they were heavenly!
Happy Friday!

Just dashing out the door but had to tell you that Alan is getting me Miss Dahl to watch this weekend (hurrah!) and I love your flowers. Yesterday's garden post was lovely too. I'll be back in a while and hopefully we can fit in a chat.
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday, dear friend!

I'm with you on this one, Cassie. I'm so glad it's Friday and that the weekend's here! I hope you had a darling week. Mine was extremely stressful but I'm sure things will look up soon as it is the weekend! ;)
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I just want to tell you how much I appreciate you! I'm glad we've gotten to know each other that much better through each other's blogs. <3 Take care, C! You are lovely. Have a blessed Saturday and Sunday!
Yes I too am loving The Delicious Miss Dahl (step aside Nigella...). I am totally in love with her kitchen, most especially the tiles, the wallpaper (gasp!) and the shade free light bulbs! Gorgeous!
