As I have been hinting at this week, my wanderlust has won out and I am off in just under a month! Surprisingly people, I am not off to Greece or a Greek Island for that matter - yes I know I have had a Santorini obsession of late!
We are off for two weeks to Gozo; a small island just north of Malta. I visited the island as a child and we returned last August; my husband fell in love with the island and I was reminded why I held such fond memories. It is only about 9 miles in length and everywhere is a short drive away. We had such an amazing time last year we couldn't really resist going back again. We also got some, impossible to resist, last minutes deals on villas too.
Unfortunately our first villa was not available for both weeks but we couldn't resist staying there for one week as it is one of the tour operators luxury places. This will be our view for the first week - across the Gozitan green countryside and our own pool. And for our second week we are moving into the capital Victoria and this gorgeous little villa below. You can just see the famous Citadel to the left of the villa on the hill.
We are both so desperate for the time to come now and I am writing lists, ordering books and daydreaming in anticipation! The only negative about the whole expedition is the pretty much total cut off from Internet access, although I think it will be a good thing too! Fear not though, I will not entirely abandon you and I am in the process of setting up guest posts for your enjoyment. Can I take this opportunity to say a HUGE thank you to all those gorgeous, wonderful ladies who have agreed to write a post - I really am overwhelmed by your kindness.
So my giddy exciting news is out there and I will try not to bore you to death with 'Gozo' posts but I may just have to post one or two pictures from last years trip sometime soon.

Wow Cassie, this place looks heavenly. I can see why you are so excited and it's not all that bad being cut off from the internet for awhile, in fact, I think it is quite freeing. I'll be working on my guest post real soon and am so exicted to do that for you. Thank you for the comments on my new template, now I just need to try and make more time for blogging. My schedule seems to be quite filled up lately.
