So I spent most of last week worrying about the weather on Gozo when in fact it turns out I should have been worrying about the erupting Icelandic volcano instead! As it stands our flight out on Tuesday is looking decidedly unlikely; today parts of the UK have closed airspace but flights out of London are running as normal. However, in the words of the news "the cloud is expected to lie over the London area by Tuesday" and as our flight is scheduled for very early Tuesday morning, it is very much in doubt.
Today we are sitting here with that horrible uncertain feeling and really unable to do anything but wait and see. Hopefully we will know more tomorrow and we can speak to our holiday company to find out what would happen if our flight was cancelled. It is all very unsettling and frustrating and I don't do well with uncertainty sadly.

ReplyDeleteOh boy, I'm sure that's one to keep your mind occupied with worry. I hope your flight plans go through and I believe that sign is not just a sign, but true for you. The Lord talks to us in many ways and sometimes he calls you by name. That was definately for you from God.
