Alphabet Walk Blog Hop

Today is my turn in the 'Alphabet Walk Blog Hop'. There have been some great pictures so far this week, pop over to Piper at One Sydney Road to take a look at how the alphabet is shaping up. The idea was you sign up for one particular letter of the alphabet and take photographs which match your letter; either of the letter itself or things beginning with that letter or an entirely abstract idea. Today it is the turn of K - O. My choice was:

Nestboxes

These are the nestboxes currently residing around my house and garden. Unfortunately I think only one has been occupied this year (bottom right). In fact you can see where the bird coming and going from the box has worn away the stain on the wood. The centre nestbox is in my mind too pretty to live outside so it is on show in my kitchen instead.

I thought I would use todays theme to show you some other pretty nestboxes I would love to have as homes for my birds and add to my collection.

(Crocus)

(CleggFarmCreations)

(The Orchard)

(DoorCountryWoodworks)

The Alphabet Walk has been great fun to join in with and I am really enjoying this Summers photography projects. To see the other blogs joining in with the letter n today visit 'At First Swoon' and 'One Little Spark'. Be sure to check out the rest of weeks photos on One Sydney Road too.

  9. ohhh that purple nestbox is super cute!! i'd love to have one outside our house... especially since some birds are making a home on our pipes, it would be much nicer if they had a house!

The picture of my daughter is taken by herself. I think she's really good at that.
