Tumblr Tuesday

My dear friend Erin and I were talking this morning (her very late yesterday) about how much we love Tumblr Tuesday but just how much time it takes to get a post ready. It would be all too easy to just put a link saying all pictures were taken from my Tumblr archives and sure would save me oodles of time but I feel I need to say where I got the images from. We were talking about themes and if we had anything in mind for this weeks post and as neither of us did, she suggested simply sharing our favourites from the last week.

As I look back through my archives I find it really hard to pick favourites because I have them all there for that very reason in fact! But I have however managed to pick just seven completely random photos to share with you all today, I hope you enjoy them.

This image reminds me of the two holidays I spent on the Greek Island of Thassos. I have many a picture with these gorgeous flowers in the background or of them against a stunning sunset. So when I saw this image just this morning I was whisked back to the Greek sunshine and island memories.

Living out here in the countryside I am fortunate enough to see rabbits and hares frequently and even if they do attack my new saplings or nibble away at crops they are quite adorable too. This hare reminded me of Sunday when we went to walk Max at our in-laws and there, sat in front of his dog house was a little young leveret- taunting the poor dog!

This photograph tells a thousand stories to me. I can imagine it being a scene from so many novels and in so many period dramas, can't you?

Simply too cute not to post, right?

I felt sure when I saw this image on Erin's Tumblr that she would have thought of me too. As we both had blue hydrangeas as part of our wedding flowers I think these hydrangea cupcakes would have fit in perfectly.

Yes I know that is my own Tumblr account but I posted this image onto there because I adored it so very much. I think Cosmos are beautiful dainty flowers and in fact I have seen so many gorgeous shots of them around lately. I hope to add some to my garden next year to grow around the fence which surrounds our pond.

Finally, as much as I love the sunshine I cannot help, sitting here today with the rain pouring down outside, but think of Autumn. This fantastic image makes me long a little for all things Autumn; new season clothes, tights, umbrellas and crunchy leaves underfoot.

Well there you have it, seven pictures taken from the last seven days of my Tumblr life. Please let me know what you think, do you have a favourite? Do you follow my Tumblr and have a favourite I didn't include, I would love to hear about it. I hope to be back tomorrow with a little request of help as I am hoping to pick your brains...

Bye for now!
