I could have stood at that window in the living room and taken millions of photographs. It would have been amazing to have a timelapse camera set up on it to track the tide come in and out each day too. I am sad that I wasn't able to get a photograph of it in the snow yesterday morning but we left before the sun rose.
In between trips out and about around the county, which I will tell you more about in other posts, we spent time on our beach and walking the coastal paths. The cliffs adjacent to our beach had a separate island which had amazing views across the various surrounding bays.
(wooden bridge across to the island)
(view back towards our beach)
(last of the days sun shining over Newquay)
(the next two bays north along the coast)
It really was an amazing coastal location and so different to our own very flat landscape here in Suffolk. I will return with more pictures from other places we travelled including introducing you to some new friends we made.

Oh it looks beautiful! I had my honeymoon in Cornwall this year and loved it. Would love to know the exact location of where you stayed though as it looks a gorgeous place you rented....
