One Inspiration Photo Project

This week should have been known as 'photo week' as I seem to have been picking up the camera lots however, it is proving to be a good way to help me keep my new year goal.

I am really enjoying the one inspiration project because as well as ensuring I am using my camera it is also stretching me to think of the inspirational word or phrase in an alternative way. This weeks word was 'texture' and I just could not stop myself of thinking of all things nature.

This jug of dried chinese lanterns is very autumnal and a great dust gatherer but I have to keep it in my kitchen as I just love the colours and patterns on them. The lanterns have a beautiful textured skin and look so pretty when the light shines through them.

Please check out Melissa's blog where she showcases hers and Krista's photographs for this project each week. *I have just found out next week's prompt - 'white' - right now my brain is darting here and there!*
