I saw this image on the fabulous Design Delights, used by Melissa for a gorgeous post about things you take delight in. I told her it evoked so many story beginnings and endings in my mind and it really has served to exacerbate my recent wanderlust even more.
I just cannot seem to stop myself at the moment and am constantly daydreaming of travels. For me this image depicts, a very stylish, airport waiting lounge and right now if I could sit there I think I would be waiting for a plane to take me to a Greek destination.
How about you? Where would you travel to on a plane if you could today?

ReplyDeleteGreece is beautiful, isn't it? I saw the webcam from Thassos you posted. It's a less-than-two-hour drive away from here plus a half-an-hour ferry-ride. It's a gorgeous island! Hope you manage to come soon.

ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful picture. The airports I've been to in Greece are always so big and spacious, all cool and white with marble floors... not all that dissimilar to your photo.... very evocative.

ReplyDeleteI definately don't mind you using it, it's free for the taking. It evokes those same feelings in me. When I saw it I thought of being in an airport too and loved the colors of the chairs so much. It makes me think of candy. Funny, that I have been dreaming to go to Greece for a very long time too, but right now I've been wishing to go back to Disney World in Florida with my husband. We went a couple years ago and took my son and we had so much fun.
