All things English

I don't think I could have picked a better or more suitable day to write this post than today. It is election day here in the UK and what better day is there to talk England and all things English.

There seems to be an awful lot of union jack design around at the moment, is it just me? My inbox is often filled with emails from companies such as 'Not On The High Street' and 'Cox and Cox' and their latest offerings. Here are a few of my current favourites:

I have also come across some brilliant images on Tumblr recently all inspiring that patriotic feeling, which I am sure will also be helped along by discussion over the football World Cup in our house this summer!

So all these wonderful designs and many more, inspired me to set a topic/theme for the guest posts that I hope to publish whilst I am away from England on holiday. I am really excited about these posts and I am still in shock so many of you wonderful ladies agreed to write for this little corner of the huge blogsphere. So a massive thank you to you all and I hope you will look forward to hearing what some of my wonderful readers think on the topic below.

Happy Thursday everyone I hope your week is proving to be a good one. I am off to ponder some more over whether my vote today will really count!

  3. I love this post. So many wonderful, clever and cute things with the union jack symbol. Maybe it's because England has the same colors as the USA and we are friends, internationally and blogging. You have given me inspiration now for my guest post. I'll be working on it this evening. Have a beautiful day!

  7. I think your vote will count. It's better to vote than not vote I say. It's mandatory to vote here in Aus.
