Floral Five Senses Friday

Happy Friday everyone, I hope your week has been a good one. Mine was once again busy and I am grateful the weekend will soon be upon us. Today I am going to just share my flowers with you and add in something a little different instead. These Echinacea and Black Eyed Susan's are just beginning to bloom.

I have been reading 'Abby Try Again' for quite some time and really enjoy her fabulous photographs along with her Five Senses Friday posts, so I thought I would join in this week:

Tasting: a lovely meal out tonight at an Italian on the coast

Smelling: fresh air after the rain this week

Seeing: my hydrangeas slowly coming out into full bloom

Feeling: excited to see what fun August will bring

Hearing: Beth Nielsen Chapman's How We Love - it is amazing

Plans for this weekend include dog walking (as we have Max again), a clean around the house and more tidying and weeding in the garden. I am also trying to persuade my husband that we should watch Toy Story 1 and 2 this weekend and then go and see the last one in 3-D at the cinema. Can you believe he has never seen the first two - scandal!

What are you planing on doing this weekend, anything exciting, do tell? I would also love to hear what your five senses are up to this fine Friday too!

  2. Italian sounds delicious! I have to say I've never watched Toy Story either, but I know they're well loved. Hope you can convince your hubby :)

  3. Enjoy your dinner out, and getting there in the fancy new car. Enjoy the new car smell while it lasts!

Our hydrangeas are blooming too. I really must take some photos of them.

Happy Friday, Cassie dear. Two weeks from now I'll be on my way to England to see you!!!

  6. Pretty pretty flowers. I think you need a dog for yourself :) and Max will have someone to play with.

I hope the Italian food was good. I just love good food. And I adore going out for dinner.
