Much Love Monday

This Monday morning I am loving my desire to bake! If it wasn't both a very expensive habit and rather bad on the waistline I think might go crazy with the Hummingbird Bakery cookbook this week. I made this Red Velvet Cake below on Friday for our village fete and have made a couple of other recipes from the book before. Have you got it? If you have, which recipe can you recommend?

I also came across a gorgeous new Etsy shop over the weekend - 'NewIvyStyle'. The shop has the most amazing natural shots and after my baking session I just had to share this one with you all.

I am also loving all these fun little tag posts that are around the blogging world at the moment. The fabulous Kathryn over at 'SecretsofaButterfly' posted this one last week and tagged all her followers, so I thought I would share my answers with you today. Try to answer one way or the other?

♥Have an amazing shoe collection or an amazing makeup collection? It would absolutely have to be shoes! Every time I get an email about the next season collections or get a new catalogue this is the FIRST thing I look at.

♥Be able to sing or be able to dance? Dance - if you have been reading this blog for a while you will know about my love of Strictly Come Dancing. I would love to be able to dance the Tango or the Waltz.

♥Be stranded on a Desert Island or in the Desert? Desert Island certainly. I would hope to be able to enjoy the beach and the land on an island and the desert would be far too hot and dusty for my liking.

♥ Have a Computer or a TV? Computer every time.

♥Wear spots or stripes for the rest of your life? Stripes, as much as I have recently fallen in love with spots I don’t think I own one spotty item.

♥Drink out of a Teacup or a Mug? A mug - my hot drinks have to last as long as possible.
♥Receive a bunch of Flowers or a box of chocolates? This is a toughie! I am particular about my likes and dislikes with flowers so I may have to say a box of chocolates or BOTH!
♥Wear Converse or Stilettos? Although I am not a trainers person I don’t particularly care for high heels either.
♥Meet Johnny Depp or Robert Pattinson? Johnny Depp, if I had to choose but I am not particularly fussed by either to be honest.
♥Be a Fairy or a Mermaid? A Fairy - I would love to live at the bottom of a secret garden, in tiny fairy house.
♥A Coffee or a Cup of Tea? Coffee, coffee, coffee every time.
♥Pink nails or Blue nails? Pink, I don't think I have ever worn blue.
♥Live somewhere sunny or somewhere cold? If I had to make a decision I would say somewhere cold but I would rather say somewhere in between perhaps where Autumn is the only season.
♥Have an amazing house or an amazing car? This one is the easiest – house of course.
♥Be kind or funny? Both preferably I think, but I think kind might just be more important.
♥Eat Sweets or Cake? Another tough one, sweets I think…
♥Hold a Tarantula or a Snake? Absolutely neither!
♥Wear a necklace or a ring? Necklace, besides my engagement and wedding ring I never wear any others.
♥Laugh or Smile? Laugh, I cannot get through a day without laughing just once. (Thanks to my husband)
♥Wear Pearls or Beads? Pearls, I love pearls.
♥Have lots of money or lots of friends? I think I have to agree with Kathryn and what she said for this question – “I'd rather have quality in friendship than quantity”. So this is a tough one too.
♥Love or be loved? Both – can one come without the other?

We are forecast another week of good weather here on the east coast of England, so I am hoping to enjoy more time outside. It is also the last week of school for my nieces and nephews so it will be excitement all round come the end of the week.
