Friday Favourites

Hello friends, thank goodness it is Friday! This week has been a busy one and seems to have gone on forever. Today has been non-stop dashing from one thing to another and I am finally taking a minute to sit down with a much needed cup of coffee and paying some attention to this blog I told you I was returning to!

So I titled this post 'Friday Favourites' and I have a huge amount I really want to share with you all about Autumn and the upcoming festive season but I thought for today I would just highlight a few beauties I have seen around the internet world this past week.
  • First of all, if you haven't already, check out this super duper online magazine 'Gifted' from the very talented Creature Comforts. The front cover alone got my heart beating faster!
  • I have totally fallen in love with these two wreath kits from the wonderful Paper Source - either the Mum's Wreath or the Fall Leaf Wreath would be perfect if I were celebrating Thanksgiving.
  • I couldn't stop looking at the pictures which accompanied the brilliant post over on Black *Eiffel about the French photographer Alain Delorme and of course I especially adored the pig one!
  • Finally, doesn't this stunning photo make you yearn for Winter just a little?

So tonight is Bonfire Night here in England, however we don't have plans to go to any event as I am not that keen on fireworks really. We will keep an eye out for any that might be on display around our village from the cosy comfort of home I think. Tomorrow I have plans to make a huge batch of carrot and ginger soup and on Sunday we have my sister-in-law's birthday celebrations, so all in all the weekend will be quite a busy one. How about you, what are your plans for the weekend, anything exciting in the works?

  1. Why does England have the best holidays ever? Pancake day? Bonfire night? Clearly, I belong there. :)

And, gasp! We are in mutual agreement about Gifted. Could the cover be any more precious? So in love. Planning to read it on a homework break this weekend. :)

Hope your weekend is fantastic, even if you're skipping Bonfire Night. :)

  2. I am forever lamenting that there is no Paper Source in Tampa! I hope you have a relaxing weekend!

  4. Happy Bonfire Night, dear Cassie!

I've just got home from a great workout and Alan and I have been sitting in our almost emptied living room making fabulous plans for it! We're going to be busy this weekend, that's for sure.

Mmmm, carrot and ginger soup. Wish I could pop by for a bowl!

    xo
