It is getting very late here but I just wanted to pop in for a quick mid-week visit and share with you a few things I am grateful for right now.
Firstly, I am thankful for the opportunity to share experiences with others once again via Marta's fabulous 'Project Thankful'. Please call in and take a moment to comment too.
A huge thank you to Micaela for organising the brilliant Ornament Swap, now I have my partner I am looking for that perfect one to send.
Yesterday I was grateful that the local tourist information shop had its huge stock of charity Christmas cards in once again; for me to spend an age browsing at all the beauties.
Thanks to my Mum I now have a wonderful new pair of gloves to keep my fingers toasty and warm that are very similar to these ones.
I am thankful for wonderful quick meal ideas from a new-to-me programme on tv tonight, such as Salmon and Watercress Tart and for the delicious Seabass with capers and a black olive salad I had at lunchtime today.
I am thankful that is nearly the weekend and that means only one more week till we go to Cornwall, I really can't wait now.
Finally, I am grateful for the speed at which a little parcel can travel from here in little ol'England to faraway Canada so that a special surpise can reach a special friend.
Hope you are all having a great week and are thankful for many things yourself today, I would love to hear what you are grateful for big or small, do drop me a comment.
Catch up soon!

I am thankful for you! For Christmas magazines and little letters that make me smile. For my two boys who are playing nicely together (at the moment anyway!). For the fire that is roaring away in my woodstove and warming up the house. For my mom who is coming over to babysit so I can go out to a meeting (and have a few minutes to myself to pop into Starbucks for a festive hot drink, too)
ReplyDeleteLovely post. Hope to chat with you at the weekend, my dear!
xo
I am thankful for a Thursday with cancelled classes, and an entire day to work on writing for my class. Thank heavens!
ReplyDeleteI'm also thankful that you have so much to be thankful for! :)
I'm thankful for beautiful posts that make me feel more thankful for what I have.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited about the ornament swap too! And I must get some charity christmas cards.
I'm thankful for sweet bloggy buds like you!
ReplyDeleteI am so thankful for my husband. When I see the pessimist side of things sometimes, he's always there lovingly pointing out the optomist side of things.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun blog you have. I'm glad to have found you. Love this list.
