Today I turn a rather scary 31, can you remember my wittering last year about turning 30 (here)? It feels like just yesterday and frightening that I am a whole year further into my thirties.

My wonderful husband has promised he will be indulging my every whim today and after a lovely lazy start to the day we are off to one of my favourite places; Snape Maltings. We will wander around the gorgeous little shops before lunch in the farm cafe. We are then heading home for tea and cake with some family, including nieces and nephews who will no doubt devour any cake put in front of them!

Hope your first full week in January and 2011 is going well and I couldn't help but leave you with a photo I saw over on the fabulous blog of Jordan Ferney. She said this would be her ideal party and I couldn't help but think it is my idea of a party from hell! Having globophobia is not the best one to have for birthdays!

    Happy Birthday, Cassie! 31 is a great age -- after all, it's a prime number! I just turned 30 a few weeks ago so I can imagine how this birthday feels. And let me tell you, this year will be simply fantastic for you. I know it.
