Friday Linky Love

This week I seem to have spent lots of time following random links from Pinterest through to various fabulous blogs and sites. So I thought, to round off the week, I would share some of my favourites with you. And as Friday used to be 'Floral Friday' around here then I thought a photo of the flowers/berries currently gracing my kitchen table was in order too. Hope you have had a great last full week in August.

Here are some very random but lovely links for you to spend a moment enjoying:

This Dad's birth story certainly made me cry this week.

Through a wonderful Flickr photo I found this gorgeous blog featuring some stunning mail.

From the blog above I discovered another selling the most intricate and beautiful vintage stamps - great if you are a Canadian reader as they can still be used.

My husband sent me the link to these amazing buildings this morning - the stuff dreams are made of if you are a book lover.

These costumes would go down a storm with all of my nephews right now I am sure!

Country Living magazine is running a fabulous competition to find the best readers pet and I love it when they update their gallery page - my favourite has to be the Spaniel with the ice-cream!

I finally spent some gift vouchers I was given way back in January this week on one of these gorgeous wooden creatures - can you guess which one I bought?

Finally, even though the rain is pouring down here today I would still love to round off the week with one of these, wouldn't you?

Wishing you all a wonderful last weekend in August!

  3. Dear Cassie,

Congratulations on your fantastic news about the exciting arrival of a "tiny whitedaisy" in October! Having friends who have gone through similar difficulties as you describe below (also with successful IVF in the end), I can imagine how hard the last few years must have been, and the delight over your pregnancy!

I am truly happy for you and wish you all the best for the rest of your pregnancy and the arrival of your new family member!

    Love from Helena
