Happy List

To end a wonderful week I have decided to pinch my fabulous friend Erin's idea of finishing with a flourish and writing a list of things to be happy about! Of course top of that list this week absolutely has to be all the amazing comments and emails I have received from you all after my return post. As the pretty graphic says above - 'you make me happy!' Thank you all so very much for all your kind thoughts, sweet words and best wishes - they truly mean the world to me.

OK, other things which make the happy list this week:

# The Nursery furniture arrived yesterday and the room is really beginning to take shape. (I aim to share inspiration boards next week and hopefully have photos to share soon too)

# Skyping dates with Erin more than once this week.

# Gorgeous Autumn/Winter catalogues arriving in the post.

# Crazy 'pinning' sessions on Pinterest (anyone else addicted?)

# A fridge full of delicious food and a kitchen worktop laden with lots of fruit (really must share some of the yummy recipes I have been trying lately)

# Three of our nephews and nieces are coming to stay for the weekend tomorrow. We are taking them to the cinema in the morning, hopefully taking advantage of the sunshine in the afternoon and having fish and chip take-away for tea! Then they are sleeping over and we are having trumpets (our niece's word for crumpets!) for breakfast on Sunday.

# Finally, I am happy that despite my lack of tender loving care (I will explain the reason for this soon) my garden is surviving, bright and colourful.
